Several years ago I wrote a lightning talk entitled Why PHP is great (and all other languages suck) for the UKUUG Spring conference. It was intended as a tongue-in-check tour through all the programming languages I could think of, explaining why they were all terrible and inferior to PHP. It’s more fun when delivered in person as you get to see the reaction of audience members when their favourite language is mocked, but I’ve now put the slides online for anyone who didn’t make it to the conference.
