MaPit Lookup released

I’ve just released the first version of MaPit Lookup, a PHP library for MaPit, the mapping information service from the chaps at mySociety. It’s a simple wrapper which turns MaPit requests into PHP functions which return an array of data, hiding the boring and repetitive code such as HTTP requests and JSON decoding.

The library is free to use and available under the MIT licence. I will be using it on a new PHP site which I’m planning to launch in the next few weeks, so rest assured that if the API changes, the library will be updated to match.

If you find the library useful, you may wish to donate to mySociety, so that they can continue to build these useful services.
